6.3.6 - New feature preview: Closing Timer for manual close accounts.

We’d like to give you a preview of the new Closing Timer feature that is just about ready to bloom. If you start using this beta feature, we would love for you to share your feedback with us so that we can help it blossom to its full potential in the next release.

This optional new feature allows you to set a time for your transactions to automatically close whenever you don’t manually batch at the end of the day. 

Manual close accounts can enable the Closing Timer on any iOS or Android device. Here’s how it works:

• Head to Settings → Closing Settings.
• Toggle on Set Closing Timer.
• Enter a time that your transactions will automatically begin to close in the event that you do not manually close.

If you are using a Payanywhere Smart Solution with a printer, you will also have the option to enable Automatically Print Closing Report. To learn more about the Closing Timer and printing your closing report, check out our FAQ.
