6.3.6 - The latest updates in Payanywhere and Payments Hub.

It's time to spring into a new version of Payanywhere! We’ve done some spring cleaning (of bugs), and freshened up with some new features and enhancements for your payment processing pleasure.

Payanywhere version 6.3.6 is now available for Android and iOS! Quick reminder - The Payanywhere app requires Apple devices to be on iOS 13 or higher. Android devices require Google 5.1.1 or higher.

Payanywhere

Almost in bloom.

We'd like to give you a preview of a few new features that are just about ready to bloom. If you start using these beta features, we'd like you to shower us with feedback so that we can help them blossom to their full potential in the next release.

• Smart Solution Suite: Get your closing report automatically printed.
• Closing Settings: Set a closing timer on your Manual Close account.
• Invoices: Generate a QR code for an invoice.

New features.

• Invoices:
  • Send an invoice by SMS text.
  • Allow tips to be added on an individual invoice basis.

Enhancements.

• Smart Solution Suite: Tap Print Closing Report on the Menu for quick access to a reprint of your most recent closing report. 
• Offline Transactions: If you're looking to enable Offline Transactions, this setting is now located under Settings → Payment Types.
• Receipts: Your business name is now listed at both the top and bottom of printed receipts.
• Tickets & Tabs: 
  • Item and modifier prices are now hidden on printed tickets to make orders and what needs to be expedited more clear.
  • Option to print new items only on an open ticket.
• Contactless EMV performance improvements.
• Improved numerical keyboard interface with 00 key.

Bug fixes.

• Smart POS & POS+: Maintaining inventory view preference.
• Smart Terminal & Mini: Show asterisks for PIN on EBT and Debit transactions.
• iOS: Intermittent issue with creating and saving customer information.
• Android: Customer information not saving on keyed sales when email receipt is not sent.
• Android: Show "Sold By" name on printed receipts.
• Android: Show last 4 card digits for contactless payments on receipts.
• Android: Allow a category assignment for Express Items.
• Android: Cashiers unable to complete Offline Transactions.

Payments Hub

We've been working to make your life a little easier while you're working in your back office.

New features. 

• Invoices: 
  • Send an invoice by SMS text.
  • Add tip option can now be enabled/disabled per individual invoice.

Enhancements.

• Smart Solution Suite: View and manage the new closing report settings (mentioned above) under Payment Settings.
• Hardware & Supplies: Support for electronic return shipping labels.

Bug fixes.

• Fix to correct tax and tip calculations on Transaction summaries.
• Fix for intermittent issues with closing tickets.
• iOS: Fix for Manager permission settings impacting Owner & Admin roles.
