Attending small business conferences is a great way to network, keep current on best practices in your industry and get much-needed exposure to help you increase your sales. So, which conferences should you consider attending in the coming year? We've put together a list of five of the best so you can plan ahead.

USASBE Conference

January 9-12 of 2014, the United States Association for Small Business & Entrepreneurship will be holding it's 28th annual conference in Fort Worth, Texas. With a theme of "Cowboys, Culture, and Creativity" the conference will offer four days of invaluable exhibits, workshops and symposiums.

America's Small Business Summit

This conference, presented by the US Chamber of Commerce, will be held June 11-13, 2014 in Washington D.C. and brings together entrepreneurs from all over the country for workshops, networking and other special invents. Past speakers have included Bob Woodward and Steve Forbes.

America's Small Business Development Center Conference

Sponsored by the Small Business Development Center, this 4-day conference will allow business owners, managers, administrators and consultants to take part in professional-development seminars and workshops September 9-12, 2014 in Grapevine, Texas.

Global Entrepreneurship Week

This international initiative that introduces entrepreneurship to young people on six continents will be taking place November 18-24, 2014 in Moscow, Russia with related events scheduled in Detroit, Michigan and worldwide.

Small Business Expo

To take place in multiple cities (including Boston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York and Dallas) at different dates throughout 2014, this free conference is the nation's largest B2B trade show and networking event for small business owners.
