Payanywhere version 6.5 is here!

We routinely update the app for general bug fixes and improvements. For optimal performance, please update the Payanywhere app on your Android device to version 6.5. iOS will be available soon.

To kick things off, 6.5 includes some updates to Payments Hub:

• Disputes Report: Invoice number added to disputes report for easier reconciliation to the originating transaction.
• AVS Mismatch Alert: If this setting is enabled, customers are required to enter their billing information when submitting invoice payments.
• Design improvements for Export/View reports.
• Bug fixes and performance improvements.

Now for what 6.5 has in store for the Payanywhere app:

• If you are participating in Cash Discounting, this release includes some highly requested changes to the cash discounting functionality. Read our blog to see a full breakdown of these changes and what to expect when you update your app.
• Payanywhere Smart Terminal (PAX A920 Pro): Use the built-in scanner for scanning barcodes.
• Android: Updated design for approval and PIN Debit entry screens.
• Android: Clearer messaging when a debit card is returning credit information to ask the user if they want to run the card as a credit transaction.
• iOS: Performance improvement for the 3-in-1 (CHB2F model) reader for EMV transactions.
• Additional spring cleaning of bug fixes and performance improvements.
